Born from a prayer, The Well came to life from Tonya Cohen's vision and guidance from God. Since opening its doors in 2021, The Well has helped thousands of men, women and children experience the love of Jesus and be transformed by His love! So many have discovered their value and purpose, and now pour that same love and encouragement into others so they too can live a life of purpose and joy!

Feed The Well BBQ was born from a passion with a purpose.

​

For more than 25 years, Darrin Cohen has been cooking BBQ as a hobby, perfecting his craft and serving friends and family with joy. While he built a successful career in wealth management, anyone who knows Darrin knows about his passion for hospitality and BBQ.

​

As Darrin watched the incredible impact his wife, Tonya, was making in the community through her mission at The Well, he felt inspired to bring his passion and purpose together. Wanting to help fuel the mission and create additional support for the work being done, Darrin approached the owners of Fagan's Biscuit Barn, an 18-year icon in Forsyth County, to ask if they would consider selling the restaurant. In 2024, Darrin and Tonya purchased Fagan's Biscuit Barn and changed the name to Feed The Well BBQ and Biscuit Barn. After building the smokehouse and receiving approval from the county two years later, in February 2026, Darrin fired up the smokers! The community support was tremendous!

​Feed The Well BBQ has become a special place in our community — a true home away from home, a family table where people gather, stories are shared, laughter fills the room, and every meal pleases taste buds, satisfies tummies, fills hearts and lifts spirits.
